Zbrush Time!!!
Here is the main character, Havoc.  I can relate to him better now as I can look at him from all angles.
I know his lips are too small. but Ill just have to try harder because I love Zbrush!

Right some real stuff now . Ive taken a map of europe and modified it to create a "new world" and als added a cool old paper texture to it and added some vigentte to give that withered look.

Basicly in the story the charcters leave Euroshire and the user has to try to get the characters to the North Black Tower, in the middle of The North desert.




Doing this realy helps me with getting into writing and illustrating this story, as I feel more emersied in it when I have this map in front of me as a thing to make me feel that these charcters are "real".

OK, Before getting into some ideas that I have, I would like to share an old master who I find very inspirational in his dynamic use of line, colour, flow and dramatic use of light, atmosphere and composition and most importantly his subject matters.

 Peter Paul Rubens was a baroque painter born in Seigen in 1577, who was very prolific and produced many religous and history paintings. His male figures are usualy very muscular and bulky which really emphised the drama of the painting,
a good example is Prometheus Bound painted in 1611 where Prometheus is chained to the ground and has his liver eaten daily by an eagle.



Notice how rubens has created a very distinctive flow to the picture, Look at the direction of the eagles head, the wings, the torso...they create diagonals and all flow into the terrified face of Prometheus. Even though it is a horrific painting, Im still very absorbed in the painting.
 Also notcie how rubens hasent used black to create shadow on the anatomy of prometheus. He has used red, which creates really believable form in the painting,

This is one of my favourite painting by rubens, 
The Elevation of The Cross painted in 1611. Notice here aswell, rubens has used diagonals to create a very dramatic painting, but in this one, Rubens has managed to balance ten figures (and a dog) in a single painting, The way that rubens has managed to convey the sheer force and strength of the men is through almost eagerated twisting of the human forms.


As a side note, Next time you see a sculpture or even a painting, get up close to the figures face. If you feel that its suddenly going to come alive and go "BOO!!!" then thats a result of true craftsmanship.

OK so im going to start things off with the old ideas that I have for this thing, I was under the impression that we had to make a multiple route game so i came up with this horrible mess ...
Which basicly was me trying to over complicate things,
The original game/story was about this kid who has this controler with five buttons and two shift keys that could distort the universe, the aim of the game was to get the plane to safly land with the passengers on, it was very skeletal and I then realised it was far too difficlt to introduce random events in a story in which the user chooses the progression.
